Routine media inquiries and records requests are handled as expeditiously as possible during normal business hours.

All media inquries related to the Midland County Sheriff's Office (including cases, homicides, traffic accidents etc) are to be handled by Sergeant Thomas Gray, Public Information Officer. Please visit the Sheriff's Office Media Relations site for more information.

AFTER HOURS 

Routine media inquiries and records requests, excluding Midland County Sheriff's Office, are handled as expeditiously as possible during normal business hours. You may contact the Midland County Public Information Officer at 432-425-7121  or Tate Owen. Please be as specific as possible about the information you are inquiring about. The on-call PIO will respond as soon as possible.
The on-call PIO will not provide updated information about previous incidents, or the incidents not considered breaking news.
The purpose of the PIO being on call is to address immediate news concerns that cannot be postponed until the following business day.
